A note from our founder
Growing up in a seaside town in England, I’ve always been drawn to the coast and, thanks to the British weather, to knitwear too. A lifelong love for both naturally shaped the heart of The Knitted Sailor.
The idea for the brand came during a road trip along the coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I was drawn to the timeless style, salty air, and easy charm that seemed woven into everyday life. It felt effortless, familiar, and unlike anything I could find back home.
The Knitted Sailor was born from a simple desire to create the pieces I was searching for myself: knitwear that feels quietly chic, endlessly wearable, and full of character. Pieces that feel special from the very
first wear and become old favourites over time.
